Karla Smith is a self-taught artist with many years of drawing and painting in oils. She received her degree in Advertising & Graphic Design, and has worked 22 years as an Art Director and currently Web Designer. Her passion for fine art and painting has been a personal goal. Art is a never ending process of learning and pushing forward.

Karla enjoys thinking of ideas and then seeing how they form in a painting. She loves the continued learning process of art. There isn't an end point – just keep moving forward! A love of the outdoors offers the ability to show her dedication and respect for nature thru art. Thru glazing, lighting and color – there is much to learn and experiment with. Also with experience as an Art Director in both print and web, Karla has been given great exposure to many forms of art.
